Budmarsh is renowned for its excellent cuisine and offers the best gastronomical experience in the Magaliesberg. Accommodation is inclusive of a sumptuous, six course dinner and a magnificent spread for breakfast. Our master chef, Zhan Steyn, is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Member of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs

Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society founded in Paris in 1250. It is devoted to promoting fine dining and the pleasures of the table through the social interaction, hospitality and expertise of its members. Membership is by invitation only.

The menu for each meal is carefully chosen based on the finest of ingredients available for the day and consists of a starter, soup, sorbet, choice of main course, dessert, and coffee and truffles.

A smart casual dress code applies for meals.

The Dining Rooms

Budmarsh has two dining rooms to provide the necessary ambience for small and large groups. The first is able to seat 10 couples or a special venue for 20 individuals seated in a large square. The second dining room, seats up to 25 tables or close to 120 people. The venue allows for dancing or entertainment.

The Bud and Marsh Pub

Settle down to an aperitif just before the main meal, or join your friends around the bar for cocktails and fine liqueurs and ports, and speciality coffees.

The Cellar

Budmarsh has one of the finest stocked cellars in the area. If you enjoy wines or ports, you will find some of the best vintages available. You may also request to have a private function with up to eight people in the cellar. To select a special wine, browse around the cellar in the morning and we will chill your white and dessert wines to the perfect temperature. Wines can also be selected from the cellar before a meal.
