Trout Fishing

Budmarsh is situated less than a few kilometers from the source of the Magaliesburg river. In winter the dam is stocked with the best Trout from the Mpumalanga province, Budmarsh provides the ideal place for a relaxing time of fly-fishing.

Ballooning

Bill Harrop's "Original" Balloon Safaris is a must for adventurous romantics. The silence of the balloon safari is punctuated only by the occasional blast of the powerful burners and the faint call of a bird or animal far below. Open 7 days a week, the farm produces cheese according to old Dutch traditions and recipes. Guided tours show the process of cheese making.
